AETNA WE JOIN YOU
A whole boatload of Aetna goodness to support their national brand campaign "You don't join us, We join you". This campaign highlights all ways Aetna can join your weird and wonderful life and made a point not to showcase the cookie cutter lives insurance tends to portray.
The relaunch surpassed all goals 3 times quicker than expected and tripled engagement with the brand. Organic searches for ‘Aetna’ actually overtook searches for ‘health insurance’ within 4 weeks of launch.
OOH
OOH was a labor of love sold in to the client in addition to the original scope of work. Each piece highlights an "easter egg" location or scene from one of our secondary markets, that don't normally get to see themselves in advertising.
We featured Boathouse Row in Philadelphia, Jet-packing in Jacksonville, the Butterfly Center in Atlanta, and Waterwall Park in Houston amongst many other scenes. Truly an IFYKYK.

High impact digital display banners appear around the most stressful content imaginable, the news, offering easy to follow tips on how to stay healthy and stress free (until you scroll).
Organic Social
On top of this, I managed their always on organic social content. I helped create a unique look and feel for Aetna on social and executed tiny illustrations of donuts and disco balls.
We got people to comment things like, “wow this is cool!” instead of, “why won’t you cover my dialysis costs?”.
